Good idea. It is pointless paying police salaries, overheads, pensions etc when you could get the job done for half the cost.
Expand the role of the Highways Agency? Don't like the sound of increasing penalties for motoring offences though. |

Amazing that there is the British Transport Police just for trains and not a seperate force for the roads. Also amazing that there are 1/3 million uninsured cars and people aren't being nicked for it, with no need for a tax disc now why haven't tax and insurance been intergrated? It's obvious false insurance docs are used all the time to get tax.

If there was speed cameras and police on the route I take to work then the fines would raise so much money they could pave the road in gold.

The luvvies will no doubt tell you that there is hardly any black on black crime in London.
This means that Operation Trident is vastly overmanned with 550 officers on call. 525 of them should should get off their arses and get out on the streets and nick a few thousand motorists. |
