In his sector. Looks like a no lose gamble to me.

Put options are a gamble as they have an expiry date. Buying Tesco shares is likely to show a profit at some stage as it's still a great company with huge presence but who knows when? Never catch a falling knife as the saying goes.

Predictions for the food retail sector are that in the absence of an economic boom discount supermarkets Aldi and particularly Lidl will continue to grow their market share in the next few years, mainly at the expense of Tesco, Sainsburys and Waitrose. As the market leader Tescos has the most to lose.

Definitely a no bet for me.

Tesco are finish for me

They've been taking the p!$$ for too many years now - even their staff are arrogant

I shopped their for many years with a grocery bill of £150+/week and now the main bulk of my shop is at Aldi - I may go into Tesco once a week and stock up on the bogof stuff or half price stuff but that is it
Report Ivor September 26, 2014 4:58 PM BST
Ditto.
Tesco is 17% of my weekly shop - just the items n/a in Aldi.

I haven't bought stocks for a while now but have been watching the drops last week or so & am interested in buying a few soon

He seems to know what he's doing buying Tesco

I think Sainsburys look a good price now & surly these kind of stocks are worth buying for a dividend , if you can afford to hold them ?

I know similar applies to them but Tesco seem to be bringing them down

I went into Tesco last night looking for a DVD to buy, the selection was shocking !! Thats me finished buying films from them ..

I went into Svens last night, and bought Debbie Does Dallas, Pom Poms Arizona and Mission To Boldly Go In And Out. They were completely out of milk, malted cereal and sugar, so will definitely not recommend this company to any fans of breakfast.
