Poorly designed household items

my missus bought a "camp" pair of secateurs in a fetching baby blue colour from a pound shop ffs , grudginly I started cutting some thin nettles with them and they were ok but as soon as I tackled a blackberry bush the feckers disintergrated in my hands ,lasted all of 5 mins

Pound shop stuff is either brilliant or shockingly bad

electric power plugs with sloping sides so they are difficult to grip.
Dont even start me on about toasters.
