This is worse than a quiz from that well known Bastard Kweeveen. Sad
Report akabula September 25, 2014 1:44 AM BST
IT could be two things. The clue to one is IT, get IT and you've got IT.
Hope that helps.

Two more clues.

1 You'll post FO when you get the answer.
2 I haven't a clue either but know what IT is.

I know what Monsoon is, what's that got to do with M and S

I still don't get the joke.
Report geoff m September 25, 2014 6:41 PM BST
you need a guided tour of London CMAT.
Report i_agree_with_nick September 25, 2014 7:00 PM BST
I'm confused now.

Monsoon was just a pun (it was raining).

To put the record straight: It didn't have to be M&S - it could have been anywhere.  When tourists (usually Japanese, in my experience) are doing the sights, the guide often leads them by holding an umbrella aloft.

They only follow furled umbrellas....not open umbrellas (flaw in the 'joke')

I would have sat here for another 10 years and not got that.

Same as everybody else except Coachbuster by the look of it.

That's why nobody explained it to me when I first asked, they didn't get it either, but pretended they did.

My point exactly. There's many a true word spoken in jest.

call me a taxi - it's a regular sight in central London these days  , however -

when i went on holiday in the mid 1980s i recall our bearded tour guide  led the way with a Pink umbrella  around Venice as not to get lost in the crowds - but can't say if it was a regular thing that long ago .

unless he started the trend Wink
Report call me a taxi September 26, 2014 7:01 PM BST
I've been to central London loads of times over the years.

Never noticed it once.

There is one constant that never changes despite the congestion charge and Boris bikes.
Black bogeys from all the diesel soot.
Report SlippyBlue September 26, 2014 9:42 PM BST
Londoners don't go central for a night out. I wouldn't go to Covent Garden or Soho if the beers were free.
