You place a bet for £50 on a 10/1 winner. You quite clearly state £50.

The telephonist is dreaming and calls the bet back as £20 win.

It's your turn to dream and you say that's right.

You get them to listen to the tape when you realise you are £300 light.

How is the bet settled?

Are you getting the IPhone6 Ken?
Report twizzle22 September 22, 2014 12:29 PM BST
Simple answer to this because i work at a call centre and its happens regular. If you are a "valued" customer you will be paid in full.If however you are not....NO CHANCE.The onus is always on the customer. Not saying its right but it what happens.

Ok, thanks twizzle. This situation did happen on Friday and they've listened to the tape today. Fortunately I was right and they credited my account.

So if you're an arber or shred punter you're not a valued customer presumably? A valued customer is a recreational player?

I'm not, Ken, I don't get along with them, people say they're intuitive but that's only true if you intuit the same way Apple do, and I don't. I'm not 'upgrading' my HTC One as I've not seen anything that significantly improves on it since it was released. And I'm invisible to chicks anyway so a smart phone isn't going to help.

Invisible to chicks.LOL. At least you're honest.

The IPhone 5s came right at the top of the reviewed phones by "Which" last year, that's why I'm thinking of departing mt HTC OneS which can be a bit sluggish but it is 3G. The phone doesn't support 4G and I think thet's what I need as I need speed. Had this phone 27 months, currently just paying £15 a month for the Sim. "Which" have yet to fully review the IPhone 6. Can let you have their report if interested.

As I suspected. Joel.

No need for a review Ken, I'm surrounded by hair-products cants here who all have the new iPhone, they love it, but they'd love it if Hitler personally endorsed it, provided it had an apple on the back. Only thing to bear in mind if you do swith to apple is that if you've purchased any apps from the play store (e.g. ratemypoo, grindr), you'll have to buy them all again from apple.
Report kenny mann September 22, 2014 1:54 PM BST
ha ha, ok Ken, shout if you want a review from Which. If I don't go for the IPhone I'll get the sadly named HTC One M8, which has a larger screen and is supposed to be the best yet (aren't they all!)
Report Ken Masters September 25, 2014 8:22 AM BST
Kenny - Don't get the iPhone 6 if you like to tuck your phone in your skinny-jeans pocket when you're jiving, lots of people complaining it bends. There's even a 'gate' for it, "bentgate".
