I suppose Alex Salmond's bruising style of politics has no bearing on the rancour and division this whole episode has caused?

Described as a minor incident with three arrests. Hardly a riot.
Yes voters still seething and trying to make a mountain out of a molehill. ![]() Please note that no bricks were thrown or Trams trashed last night. ![]() |

akabula is a member of a rare breed-a Scottish Tory.Normally,as a RSPB member and lover of nature I would be in favour of protecting 'rare breeds'but not in this case.

That link will give you the truth of what happened.
The 'yes campaigners' attacked a pro Union rally by throwing bottles. Then after letting off a green flare they can be heard shouting "up the ra" and "Brits out". The Unionist rally was a front for some extremists as was the Nationalist group that went looking for trouble. Why else would they have went to George Square knowing that there was a Unionist rally? A rare breed of Tory am I iamajambo? I come from a LibDem stronghold and canvas for my MP.And fyi there are over 400,000 Tory voters in Scotland which hardly classes them as rare. Anyways surely as we live in a democracy people should be able to vote anyway they want? |
