I speak as a personal frend having met and had my picture taken with him for the evening post. It was at the uk premiere of his CS lewis film. Or some kind of premiere that was in Leeds for some reason.
There was an enjoyable programme which Rickman narrated on telly other day, probly be on iplayer, was very good like Dicky.
I have to say I largely agree with his world view.
Going to watch original film Flight of the phoenix now.
Then ring my mam and see if see still has the scrapbook.

He once recounted that in the final scene in Alex where he had to knock back a pint of lager in one (and it was real lager) the kept having to re-shoot it and he was pissed when the scene was completed.
