I like cats but owners should accept more responsibility. They shouldn`t be allowed to roam about the streets. Should be taken out on leads, like dog owners must do, and "bells" should be compulsory. Over 3 billion birds killed by cats in the USA per annum.

I agree with themightymac.
Cats play havoc with gardeners plots and they have to go to great lengths if they want to keep them away.

Owners should be made to keep them up.

Owning a dog is a good way of keeping cats off your property and crapping everywhere.

And if it barks all day and annoys your cat owning neighbours simply tell them you've only got it to keep the cats off your garden.

That should please them.
