That was true during the troubles but I'm not entirely sure it is now. Our policing bill would still be higher but the amount we receive has been cut drastically.
We've been 20 years in "peace" now and Sinn Fein have not called for a reforendum once even though they are entitled to call it every 10 years. The worry for us Unionists are Sinn Fein are becoming a sizable party in the South, if they ever gained control down there they would have some clout for the politics up here. |
