This is so stupid I can barely type it 
I cannot watch a movie or watch a video clip with sharks in without making sure my feet are not on the floor. They must be firmly entrenched on the couch lol I blame watching Jaws at too young an age!

Mannequins.
When I was a kid I used to think they came to life and wandered around my house. I remember my mother saying she had to chase them away because I was so scared of them. I'm 43 now and am still not convinced that this was my imagination  |

Just thought of another, though not quite in shark territory
 Ever since reading about some poor guy that died from botulism in a can of food I almost always have the word botulism spring to mind when opening a can and then make sure I hear the little escape of air. I am certifiable |
