If you just stare at her mouth, she'll just think that you think there's something wrong with her mouth and start getting self-conscious. The same would happen if you just focussed on her hair. I doubt it's the sure-fire winner you think it is.
Good old brassneck,I have tried this with remarkable results,absolutely astonishing.The number of females I have known previously,who showed little interest,are now somehow finding a way of bumping in to me,talking etc.
I have also noticed other people doing it as well.I have observed it in the public house on a few occasions,and you can see some at it.I have noticed some women doing it as well,I don't know if it works in reverse though.
