It's because you are too used to caffeine, I thought this was a poncy middle class tea myself but it's calms your nervous system and it's therapeutic, will need to drink a few cups to get used to the new taste, much better for you than coffee and the like. If you drink it in the evening in place of caffeine drinks you will sleep a lot better too.
Report Facts August 23, 2014 10:42 AM BST
But EG has caffeine In it !
Report scandanavian_haven August 23, 2014 10:43 AM BST

i've ran out of tea atm and there were a few bags of earl grey & lady grey tea... they're fecking horrible, like they're strained through a pensioners pant drawer full of moth balls.

peeps drop the inverted snobbery - "yeurch - wots all this posh rubbish" - Earl Grey is quite nice is the fact.  Esp with lemon.  And you drink it without milk.

Tastes refined and refreshing when drunk with a few drops of lemon.

Tastes of old-people's homes when drunk with milk.
Report call me a taxi August 24, 2014 12:09 AM BST
I would have thought that an old people's home tasted like bricks and mortar.
Report Mc Moonbeam August 24, 2014 12:43 AM BST
You could be right it does have an acquired taste ... at least until I get to the shop to buy a new box Mischief
