I can't help you with your DVD problem I'm afraid. But I can tell you it's the best TV series ever imo.
Does the fourth episode play alright? Its an easy enough series to catch up on if you miss one episode. |

All dvd players are capable of playing dvds from all regions, manufacturers just prevent them from doing so, so that customers will buy genuine multi region players at inflated prices. To turn your dvd player into a multi region player you just enter the makers code, which is exclusive to each individual model. Codes are easy to find on the internet but if you have problems, send me the make of your dvd player and I`ll send you the code, provided your machine is listed in my code book.

However, I would tend to agree with Badger that in this particular case, it`s a faulty dvd release.

can you explain exactly what you mean?
are you selecting episode 3 from the menu? there are definitely more than 2 episodes on that disc?? for instance, you dont select episode 3 and it says turn the disc over or put the next disc in or summat? have you waiting a bit? sometimes the thing can take a minute to load properly, very very rare but it happens with the odd dvd in a hundred. other than all that, the disc is faulty. daulty batches happen, i sent a columbo dvd back 3 times once and they were all faulty. check the amazon reviews to see if other people have reported it as faulty. |

It`s actually a pretty common fault.

If you have a DVD drive in your computer you could try it in there to see if the same problem happens in which case it must be the disk.
