Euro Scum attack family in home

On the plus side his house has increased in value by £300k in between the time of the Daily Mail creating the story link and creating the story.

the mail will turn that into a whole separate double page spread crisp

Why the suprise any violent criminal can leave prison anywhere in Europe today and be here tomorrow and cannot be stopped under freedom of movement of the E.U.

Meanwhile there are 100k+ foreign prisoners in our jails and what a suprise there is an overcrowding problem.

Foreign criminals do not fear our jails if caught whereas prisons in most of Europe are hell holes.

Our prisons often are better than their homes for some ,especially E.Europe.

there arent even 100,000 prisoners in the uk, so to have 100,000 foreign ones would be a hell of an achievement!

according to government figures last week there were a total of 85,795
people in uk prisons. thats the total. it doesnt mention how many are foreigners, but its fair to assume it wont be the majority by a long way.

Typo 10k + about 10% same argument.

scum all right

I have slight concern over the word euro though

Why should a vicious crime such as this, be less important than the media outlet reporting it in your opinion badger,

If there was the same imprisonment rate in England today as there was in the 1950s
there would be 300,000 prisoners.

The convkction rate today is so poor it covers up the true rise in crime since the 1950s

true Bob

you think too may are getting off lfc1971???
should not be really, considering we now have more advanced forensics, and vastly more surveillance cameras???????

ebul
In the 1950s something like 1in 3 robberies led to prison- today 1 in 22
Burgularies in 1950s 1 in 8 , today 1 in 59

community service is more common now for lesser offences , whilst years ago they would jail you for an unpaid fine you get 10 -20 chances at court for them , waste of money taking people to court so many times for the same fine ( if you dont pay it )

Burgularies in 1950s 1 in 8 , today 1 in 59 what is that figure??????????????????? confused here

community service...is no punishment in my opinion

After pushing him to the ground, the men, all thought to be Polish,

BBC Television news pages don't mention any ethnicity at all.

The other odd thing about the way the story is reported is the man's job. The papers seem more interested in his having been a student at Cambridge than his current position as head of the law department at London University's School of Oriental and African Studies.

I'm not sure about the increasingly common line about "mistaken identity" often trotted out in particularly savage beatings or murders. Bad luck for the actual victim certainly, but I'm uneasy about the implication it would have been OK to mete out the same treatment to whoever was the gang's intended target.

Is there any evidence that English people are more harshly treated by the police and
judicial system? You might wonder how such a situation could come about but have
any studies been done? just a question.

Did they mention the bar he runs too?

Paul Kohler, 55

Kohler sounds kinda "Euro" in itself, does it not?

Got to be the least factual statement I have read on here, not just racist at the beeb but have a lot of questions to answer to the Yewtree investigation too regarding past directors, if former employees are asked for statements similar to one`s they have given to the media.

The Mail is dodgy, but the bbc is beyond treacherous.

How's that for responsible journalism !?

She's not a journalist. Just a rent a gob.

Already judged the case and made her mind up what was behind it.

I wouldn't know as I don't read a daily newspaper, but you obviously read them as as you can make comparisons.

Would you care to enlighten all the readers of chit chat?

Which newspapers tell the truth?

The Guardian - of course !

I'm still trying to work out just what is CMAT's problem. He gets his news from the 'BBC Television news pages'. This is fine although it is not to be confused with the BBC website. That's not a problem, either.
What IS a problem, though, is that he is constantly complaining that the news reports (which he watches by choice) are incomplete. This 'incompleteness' seems to always be that his chosen source of information often fail to attach some sort of ethnicity to the subjects of the reports.
Now I don't know which particular ethnic details he feels that he needs to know, above and beyond those which his chosen news supplier finds relevant to the report.
Let's take the four 'possibly Polish' chaps mentioned above. Apparently, that is insufficient detail. He feels that he needs to know all of the details regards the varied ethic combinations that can exist between four people...none of which are relevant to the news. More precise details may be available from other sources but CMAT insists that they should all be on HIS source! He knows that the details which he seeks may be available from other sources where the editorial preferences may be closer to his own but he proudly declares that he won' use those other sources!

So, it looks to me CMAT, like you're stuck with this lack of information. I suppose that you could the supplier through the news pages, somehow. Other than that, keep on moaning.

ps. I think one might have been Jewish. Or was that the victim? Damn! Shoulda paid more attention.

The Guardian - of course

I would then assume then, that the sales figures are the highest of all the UK daily newspapers.

Is that a fact?

I'm told that if the online site reports crime by blacks or asians, the comments boxes are kept closed.

Is that true?

Now I don't know which particular ethnic details he feels that he needs to know, above and beyond those which his chosen news supplier finds relevant to the report

Which is why I'd like you to explain why other new sites seem to show the ethnicity of suspects, but if they are black or asian, most of the time, the BBC tend not to do it. But they always put the ethnicity on the pages if the suspects are white.

Let's hope that if you ever get shot, stabbed, mugged or raped, you can give the police description(s) of your alleged attacker(s).

I think it helps if the public know who to watch out for.

In my opinion, looking for a 6 feet 3 inch black man with red hair is a lot easier than trying to spot a 6 feet 3 inch white man with black hair. Consequently, the suspect could be arrested faster.

Unless of course you don't want the police to have the description(s) of your alleged attacker(s) for some reason.

Naydam

Where did I say it was insufficient?

Show me.

What if they are Polish?

Will you post an apology for slating the Daily Mail.

Newham is a wonderfully multicultural borough.

But I would strongly advise you to NEVER read the Newham Recorder crime pages.

You'd have a heart attack as the vast majority of criminals are black or asian.

The Newham Recorder just reports the news, you see.

It's not racist to report what has actually happened.

Yet.

Which one?

There are 3 there.

Take your pick, but lets start with the one I replied to.  9pm

You start with a preposition you know to be untrue.

You end with a question that you do not know the answer to and you know that the person you are addressing it to doesnt know either.

One wonders what the fkin point is

I don't know it to be untrue.

If you read enough of my posts you'd see that I can't remember the last time I purchased a daily newspaper, but it's certainly not this century.

If, as he says, the Guardian is the ONLY newspaper that tells the truth, surely it SHOULD have the largest circulation. Unless the vast majority of the UK newspaper readers don't want the truth, and prefer the lies in any other paper they buy.

You end with a question that you do not know the answer to and you know that the person you are addressing it to doesnt know either.

The chances of me reading the on-line Guardian site are zero. He's much more likely to read it. It was a fair question.

If he KNOWS the Mail is a scum racist  rag, why does he read it?

For example: I haven't read the holy bible since my schooldays. I would assume the quo'ran, which I've never laid eyes on, falls under the same category, they are both full of crap. As an adult I chose not to read them at all.

same author as well gotaway with it twice

How can someone who relies so heavily on the veracity of the Newham Recorder (which I happen to know is a very sound organ) possibly think, or even consider the possibility that the Guardian could have the highest circulation of "all the daily newspapers"?

Methinks the poster doth protest to much, or is that "I am pretending to be much dimmer than I really am".

Re the "I am told" point.  What on earth has your reply below to do with your original post. You have been told something, which if true would be disturbing and interesting, but what do you do with this preposition?. You ask someone who like you wouldn't have the faintest idea whether it was true of not, if it is true. If you think its true, do some fkin research, or even ask the Guardian to get a denial? as a starting point for a good debate on here.

bird the other day up for assault, nearly blinded a bloke. 18 previous battery cases. still no prison. the judges are meant to represent the people. they do not. how do we get shut of the bastards? its all just an intellectual game and cushy money for them.

Ask the Guardian?

If I wanted to, it would be easier to look at their website.

I was told on the politics forum, as well as this one, that the Guardian closes its comment boxes when the crime is committed by a black or an asian. Why would they lie when it could easily be proved wrong?

I would guess that given the chance to prove that this was lies, some would have jumped on it. But nobody has ever called them liara. So I believed them.

How can someone who relies so heavily on the veracity of the Newham Recorder (which I happen to know is a very sound organ) possibly think, or even consider the possibility that the Guardian could have the highest circulation of "all the daily newspapers"?

It seems you know that it isn't.

What is the highest selling daily newspaper in the UK then?

FWIW, when I used to buy papers I took the Sporting Life and the Daily Mirror. When the DM started to resemble the Sun, I stopped buying it, and never got any other paper to replace it.

BTW, I've had posts pulled by mods on here for reporting the Newham Recorder crime pages. I was accused of being racist for not reporting enough crime by indigenous whites, and reporting every black and asian crime.

Every crime I posted  had an internet link.

And once you got to the crime pages you could see I was posting all the news. It just shows that a lot of people know absolutely fack all about the place, but are content to call anybody who reports the crime as a racist.

If I had once lived in Hull, where I was told on here that there are a minimal number of blacks and asians, and reported all the crime, would that be considered racist, as all the suspects and criminals would be white?

Some justice

The court heard that, apart from Honc, all the other defendants have long criminal records in their home country, with 32 convictions between them.
Pawlowicz has also been convicted in the UK for a raft of offences including sexual assault and affray.

Lights blue touch paper...steps back...

The fact they're Polish was not mentioned on Radio 5 live news earlier. It is mentioned on the website though.

There's a picture of Mr Kohler...

Your country has been stolen from you without a shot being fired.

WTF should we pay for the b@stards to be incarcerated over here send em back from whence they came imo
Cant afford health care for many yet we can afford to imprison these scum

I've just seen him on the news, I've never seen a face so badly bruised.

Some sort of justice but now we have to pay for their keep for next 8 years plus.
