D) Girlfriends - White, white, half caste. Politically incorrect I'm afraid old chap. Youngest daughter went to New York with her mate from school a few years ago. I asked 'Which one?' She said 'Natasha, do you you remember her?' I said 'Yes, the tall half caste girl.' I was told in no uncertain terms that it's 'mixed race' these days. I told her that everybody called them half caste when I was young. It wasn't an insult then, and asked 'Why should it be now?' 'It just is...' she said. 'Does Natasha care?' I asked 'No idea.' she said ![]() I ventured on 'What about David, your co-worker?' 'What about him?' she asked 'Is he a poof?' I asked (I knew the answer) She said 'No, he's gay.' 'Same thing'I said 'explain the difference.' 'Okay, there isn't one.' Dad - 1 Daughter - 0 ![]() |

A photo appeared on Facebook yesterday of an elderly Sikh holding up a placard which read something like:
'We are all different religions with different colored skin, but we are all one race - the human race.' I posted 'He must be an American Sikh, he can't spell coloured.' It was deleted in less than an hour. So take note: pointing out spelling errors is now racist. ![]() ![]() |

I don't know anyone that says 'mixed race' even my half caste mates describe themselves as exactly that, no problem whatsoever with that term imo. The world has gone mad.

Your mates have more common sense than my youngest daughter.
