I quite often have a big ham salad or BLT for dinner with a packet of low fat crisps or something.

When I told someone in the pub last night, they laughed at me, saying only a woman or a poof would eat a sandwich for dinner.

Am I backward in may sandwich dinner beliefs?

Oh Christ here we go again. Plain

It's breakfast, lunch and dinner, it really is that simple. I do sometimes have something like a steak sandwich in the evening (i.e. between 7.00 pm - 9.30 pm) which is also known as "dinner time" in the modern world.

I can see nothing wrong with a sandwich for lunch...or even two sandwiches for an evening meal. Depending upon what it contains, it is normally a pleasant alternative to whatever other option might be chosen.

I think the chap who thought they were only 'for women or poofs' might have some sort of problem.

I don't think it matters what you eat as long as you don't overeat long term , some days I eat a lot if hungry , some days if not hungry don't eat much , the key is I only eat when hungry , quite often my first food in the day is 2pm especially if not hungry after eating late previous night , loads of times I have a bowl of cereal around 9pm at night , I'm 5 foot 9 and weigh 11 half stone so works for me.

Absolutely not.

It's breakfast, dinner, tea, then supper.

Like treble I often have a sandwich for dinner.

Tomato sauce on a steak sarnie Shocked Not on my watch. Two thinly sliced sirloin steaks and yes of course plenty of fried onions, red or white it doesn't matter and lots of English mustard. Horseradish sauce works as well.

I'd also have tomato sauce on a steak sandwich, with or without fried onions.

In fact if I have a cold roast beef sandwich I also smother it in Daddies tomato ketchup.

Lovely stuff.

Breakfast.... Dinner (Lunch) 12-1.30..... Tea (Main meal)4.30-6pm

Sandwich for dinner, why not?.... Sandwich for tea, grounds for divorce...imo.
