I am approaching the dreaded number and have been trying to think of something a bit different for it. I want it to involve a bit of adrenalin and have so far been thinking skydive, race track etc. Got any ideas? Before any one says it, I think I'll pass on sticking a chicken up my jumper and running out of Tesco.
i did nothing for mine. but then in my head im still about 25. i listen to music all you old fogies hate
where do all the years go, i still wake up thinking im gonna be late for school sometimes.

I did the Bull Run of San Sebastian De Los Reyes, last year. I couldn't get anywhere near Pamplona unfortunately, but this is the second biggest in Spain and as SSdlR is at the very northern tip of the Madrid Metro, I combined it with a few days sightseeing and general debauchery. I tell you what, if it's adrenaline you want, then being chased by a dozen huge bulls through narrow cobbled streets, will sort you right out. I've never had a buzz like it. I emerged unscathed, but there is a genuine risk of serious injury and it's pretty much out of your control. It's still very much a local thing and so finding details online isn't easy. I stayed in Madrid and just pitched up at 6-30am, it finishes at the Bull Ring, obvs, which is right next to the Metro station, so it's not like you can't find the place. You don't need a ticket or anything, if you're crackers enough to go through the fence, then you're in. Word of warning, the bulls run fast, so unless you're in semi-decent shape be prepared to bail out as soon as you hear their bells as they'll be amongst you pretty quickly and seem to enjoy hurting people.

Yes, it's the same week actually Slippy (welcome back, btw). I looked at doing both, driving there and back in a day, but it's near Valencia, which is around 200 miles from Madrid and so didn't bother in the end. It's on my list though.
