I can see the graphics when I change channels on my set top box eg bbc 1 and what the prog name is...whats wrong eith it?

If you have a CRT you might need to upgrade...though if you can see the graphics it might be a problem with the signal or something. Can you view the TV guide in full screen?

Haha! Flashing blue light has now conked out and I've had to find my way by morse code!

Funnily enough I had a similar problem with my original computer monitor. It would work okay for a bit but then went black - unless I shook my mouse on my mat vigorously.
That worked for a while but stopped eventually, so I started giving the monitor a good thump every time it went black.
That too worked for a while - then it gave up the ghost altogether and I had to buy a new pc and monitor.

Ha! I tried the bare wood of the desk - but kept getting bits of muck in the thingy hole and had to poke it out with a cotton bud!

I ended up using some isopropyl alcohol on the end of it!
