ok I know there's only £34,537.25 carried forward to Carlisle tomorrow but I thought anyone interested could put up any thoughts ...
.. and if the j/pot rolls over it could start getting interesting.
I've recently been getting back into horse racing albeit in a selected few races so I'm hoping to get involved at some point.

At the last 'live chat' session I asked Betfair why the lowest stake per line for Placepot perms is 10p, but the lowest stake per line for Jackpot perms is 50p.
In what they call 'fun bets', small stake punters can't get stuck into large Jackpot perms at 50p a line. I also said that I understood the attraction of Betfred having large rollovers, but even if only one punter landed a monster Jackpot for just 10p, 90% of the nett pool still rolls over. And of course, if 10p lines were allowed, the Pool would no doubt grow a lot, as there are probably a lot of small stakes punters nationwide who won't play at 50p a line, and if the Pool size increases, so does the commission that Betfair receive for it. Their comment on the thread was 'We will look into it.' |

totally agree cma taxi - you can't get a 5p placepot perm on any racecourse or a 10p exacta perm. I would put all of my placepots on betfair if they accepted 5p lines
