The curse of our society. To an extent I agree with ebul we need to attack this head on now.
We can't totally ignore these historical abuses but most of the resources should go on current cases and also unearthing those downloading these appalling images. |

The funny thing is that in this recent purge out of the 660 arrested in the uk only 13 were in Scotland now you can look at this in several ways.
A-the Scottish polis has not done a great job. B-the Scottish polis has done a great job. C-the english police have done a great job D-he english police have missed a few. Now if you take scotland as having roughly a tenth of the population of england you would expect pro rata your % of pervs to be roughly similar. Could someone please aadvise have i been wrong in my views that i should be voting to stay in the union or should i be voting out because your a shower of dirty bastids? |

I doubt whether many of these are actually practising paedophiles
but by downloading these images they are in fact encouraging people to make these images so a child must be getting abused somewhere... they must accept they cannot do this |

..not really, but I still against Yewtree Charwell as is Barbara Jefferson(you can google it) a leading barrister my concern is, is justice happening here?????? I am sure you still have me Paedo Apologist but no more remarks about people having skeletons or trying to achieve to cover up for themselves, etc that I did find offensive myself, just because I defend someone, does me make me one! |

That was not in the news item I read That would be most alarming. Even more reason why we should concentrate on the here and now I am not excusing Paedos, whatever their inclinations, they have a moral duty not to act on them or they must be punished. |

It appears there are 10,000 more suspects....I think we have an epidemic  against that I would probably curl and die the day I ever believe anything that is printed in the Sun But as long as normal rules of evidence are used, it is perfectly fine with me paedophiles are prosecuted..indeed they should be! |
