following on from The Jersey Boys theme, I think that Dawn was one of their best, but there best ever was recorded on The Motown Mowest label-YES It's true. A copy of this was fetching £200 until they re released it. Became a northern club hit. Can you name that tune in one?

In 2012 my old boss semi retired and bought a house with loads of land, and asked me to help design/manage a large extension which included a swimming pool, gym, snooker room, sauna, fountains etc.
When it was all finished he threw a huge party, with the Drifters and the Stylistics appearing. OK, there were none of the original Drifters (think theyre all dead), and only 2 of the original Stylistics (not the lead singer), but they were still excellent. I left about 1.30am, but apparently at 2.30 he had to ask the Drifters to leave as they were all totally pizzed, and he wanted to go to bed. http://i57.tinypic.com/2h334n6.jpg |
