My German next door neighbour will be so very pleased.........I actually feel quite pleased for him too...........England were absolute rubbish (as usual) after all!

Very average and somewhat boring World Cup -memorable only for Suarez trying to cannibalise an opponent and for Brazil's decline and ultimate implosion.
6 of the last 10 meaningful games ended 0-0...which says a lot about the mediocrity of the tournament. |

None of the other countries realise that Wayne and Stevie G ARE World Class. And when they play for England in the next world cup we will catch them out, and then see who's laughing and eating sausages and sauerkraut and putting towels on deckchairs and not shaving their armpits ... it won't be Wayne or Stevie G.

BB, no reason to retire yet. Rooney to captain England (Alan Shearer says he should) with Steve G as the mid-field dynamo. The opposition will be so scared we'll probably only need Jack Wilshire and that Rodwell and Barkley kid, who as everybody knows are really good playing in the best league in the country (England, not the UK) and bring back Carlton Palmer (gone too soon) and we'd be unstoppable ...IMO.
