ISIS are making nearly $1million a day selling off crude oil from conquered refineries to Kurdish businessmen.
The jihadists, who now call themselves the Islamic State's caliphate, are smuggling the resources from Iraqi oilfields into Turkey and Iran where they offer it up for $25 (£15) a barrel, making a huge profit.

Well they got to finance themselves somehow...I assume the billion they started with will run out sometime
Reprisal killings, could well have happened
Pretty nigh civil war there now
Although partition looks the best option, but the Shias wont want that
they do not want to see a strong Sunni country or caliphate whatever, there
I do not know what Obama will do..US air power and special forces are involved
Government of Iraq forces(pretty well Shias) are also getting support from Iran, Assad and probably
Russia...
Any hope of democracy over the whole of Iraq are probably gone anyway
it was never going to work in the first place

The Kurds are also helping themselves to the oil as well, I think they have taken over 2 oil fields

The ordinary Sunni Muslims in N.Iraq have to fight for Isis, they are shot if they don't
If you were an ordinary sort of Iraqui, who just wanted a quiet life...Saddam was also the best option(you just had to keep your nose clean)
and women had a choice other than black
