I do not hold much optimism that this enquiry will be looking to deliver the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. The CEO of the NSPCC, Peter Wanless, who is to lead the enquiry is a former civil servant who has held his position with the NSPCC for just about a year. Was he moved in in anticipation of this becoming public. A former civil servant hardly seems completely independent.

The report is also not going to be concluded  until after the general election. They really do hold us in utter contempt don't they.
