Everyone deserves the chance to hear this outstanding song at least once.

If there's a better record I'd like to hear it.

Cheers, it seems to have inspired a lot of people, glancing at the comments, including me as my mum died the same month and year it was released.
Report kenny mann • June 17, 2014 12:33 AM BST

Always been a fan of Errol Brown he's made some great tunes and he's also a supporter of NH racing, he's owned a few horses the most well known one being Gainsay.

How odd I have not been able to get It Started With A Kiss out of my head most of the day and I have not heard it for ages
Report Muntz Street • June 17, 2014 1:21 AM BST
I'll Put You Together Again was from a musical, "Dear Anyone", about a newspaper agony aunt.  In the stage version (in England, anyway) it was sung by the lovely Jane Lapotaire.
Report kenny mann • June 17, 2014 1:34 AM BST
So it was, Muntz. I always assumed Hot Chocolate penned it. The writer, or co-writer came up with some brilliant songs.

Hot Chocolate - Chances

So spin the wheel
Call your number - lucky my stakes on you
We may lose but the game we must play and it's true.
Life's the dealer and your cards I cannot see
Out all on earth I'll take my chances on you.

So anyway ...I nip into my club in Mayair (Rags) it's empty apart from Freddie (the Manager) one ot two other businessmen and Errol Brown - so Freddie introduces me to Errol.
We shake hands and I sit down for a drink and chat.
Mmmmm I thought - I must admit I felt a bit uneasy ...anyway got chatting with Errol - what a lovely guy (not up his own harse) ..he owned a Lambourghini Espada (I had a Ferrari 308GTB QV) so we chatted about motors, music, women  ....yep what a super guy.
And Hot Chocolate - love the music.
Thought it was worth a mention ...Errol RIP sadly missed..

Report twizzle22 • April 17, 2016 11:00 AM BST
Would have been a better story Ron if Errol had owned a Lambourghini Espada and you'd had a Ford CortinaLaugh
Report Coachbuster • April 17, 2016 3:09 PM BST
i don't think Errol would have cared either way ,he didn't seem that sort of bloke  - Ironman obviously considered it a point worth mentioning though Happy

Indeed MD, probably their finest.

This one was not far behind, though. The one about the aliens. Oh, how I loved HC.

The character of Alan Partridge was based on Rockinron.  Today he drives a Lexus.
