I wear my late uncle's watch which was given to me by my aunt. Round face full figure dial second hand date box silver expander.
I cannot abide watches with square/rectangular face black dial secondary dials that make reading the time difficult. Neither can I abide watches being worn with the face showing on the inside of the wrist.
The only watches I can wear are ones with a soft narrow leather strap and a small face. Not into names. My aunt bought me one of those chunky watches with a silver strap for my 40th birthday. Luckily she lived in another country but the only time I wore it was when she visited.

Tissot prc 200. Black leather strap, black dial. £300-ish job. I like it, quite an all round watch really. A few years back I would never have spent a tenner on a watch, only around 30 did I become interested in them. I would now consider spending some serious cash on a watch. I see some as much more than just a time piece. A bit of craftsmanship, a bit of heritage. A nice watch can catch the appreciative eye of anybody.

A swatch with a blue face I bought in Abu Dhabi 10 years ago, have never seen one the same. Have several other watches, some more expensive but always gravitate to this one - its like an old friend

A slimline Accurist which cost £35.Keeps perfect time.Recently paid £27 for a replacement battery (£10)and leather strap (£17).You can buy the batteries for circa £1.Tried to replace it myself but couldn't get the back back on.The jewellers use a cork-screw like press thing.

i usd to wear a watch with Mickey Mouse on the face, but after 30 years it stopped working. I sent it back to see if they could repair it, but they couldn't. As I had owned the watch for so long they sent me a new one, with the latest well known cartoon character on the face. Now I know what northernlad looks like.
