How lazy can you get ffs. It's only moving your eyes from left to right a few inches and turning a page occaConfusedsionaly. Tricky when you're driving admittedly but  aimed at people who buy muller corners 'cos they're too lazy to put a spoonful of jam on their yoghurt.

Brilliant for driving, or listening to whilst doing something else (eg, ironing, cooking, playing computer games). I've heard dozens of them.
Also plays, comedy shows and BBC4extra.

Nothing wrong with talking books.

Makes a lot more sense than talking settees etc, on tv adverts!

Audiobooks are wonderful things.

My aunt was blind and the enjoyment talking books gave her was priceless.

I would think that audiobooks are mainly intended for use by those who need them...NOT those who are too lazy to move their eyes or turn a page!

As PokerDane has indicated they are a blessing to many people in this world who would dearly love to be able to read the book for themselves. Sometimes life deprives one of that, and many other, simple enjoyments.

Wow! fishing.
Fishing on a forum is one of 2 things:

1. A cop-out of a defence for saying something obviously stupid and claiming you were "Fishing"
or
2. Just a silly thing to do, trying for no reason at all to be contentious and wind people up.

I hope it was worth it for you
