I'm suitably impressed with 130... Got to 79 with 2 1/2 mins to go, then the mrs called and wouldn't get off the phone!!

A couple of geography-related questions I liked recently ( no googling ):

Which country which is a member of the European Union starts with the letter U?

and

This year's Tour de France bike race starts in Yorkshire and finishes on the Champs Elysees. Can you name one town or city that hosts a stage finish?

Rob is right for the UK.

I gave that question to 4 civil servants who deal with benefit claims recently, 30 seconds to answer, none got it.
The easiest answer to the Tour de France question is Paris, but Harrogate, Sheffield and London are also good among many others.

As you can guess, I like quiz questions where the answer is either in the question, in your face or under your feet but no-one notices.

I certainly didnt immediately think of Paris immediately

Rob's answer of nil is good, as is 'zip' too.

There's one something like this: Since the Darwin awards began, guess how many people have collected their award in person for winning the category 'Best act of stupidity in removing yourself from the gene pool'.

rubbish quiz imo. if it said heres a country now click on where it is, that would make sense.
but just to get you to type in random countries for an eternity is boring.

alright had a proper go. only got 80. most of em really quickly, the last 8 minutes i got about 3.
trouble is remembering what youve said. would be easier if the countries names were on the map after youve said em.

for some bizarre reason i didnt get austria, greece, switzerland, romania or bulgaria even though i got vatican city and liechtenstein. i got all the south american ones except suriname, but ballsed up major style on asia and africa. only got 13 of africa out of however many there is. Sad
