yep , here's yer best bet ... get a luas tram to Houston about 6 pm after the parade, have a beer or two in the galway hooker pub, get the 7-15 train or thereabouts to galway, sleep on train, wake up in galway about 10 pm ... perfectly prepares yer for the greatest night of yer life , no mugging, no stabbings , no sh!te .

something very off about Paddy's Day in Ireland for some reason, not the craic it is elsewhere.
A strange crowd seem to go on the beer that day, lot of tinkers about, can get messy. Best avoided. |

I could not imagine anything worse than being in Dublin on St. Patricks Day. It will be a messy nightmare. Been there, done that, never again.
