I'm a bit old for heroes but Eddie's as close as they'll come. He took over a meandering glammy rock band in need of direction after Andrew Wood's death and molded them into something different, fought many costly battles along the way but won the war, and seems to have had a ball most of the time and got to play with an incredible array of true stars. Happy birthday squire.
