Advice on delivery of a large item for christmass

Might try and ask some local lorry drivers if they might be in the area to collect it and pay them.

I've used a lot of couriers but this could be a bit tricky so be careful
The weight & size could be a problem especially from Scotland to Ireland

If you search on Parcel2go website it'll give you the best quote from most main couriers & is worth paying a few quid extra for the best ones

Sadly i don't think it'll be classed as a parcel , and may need to arrange your own courier , which would be quite expensive , but gl

ebay is full of private couriers too that you can msg/ ask for quotes , but they won't be cheap at all

Thank you everyone for the replies. I have left the details with the Shipley website mentioned. It seems they are like a one stop courier stop where different couriers send you a quote. The item was on ebay so I have to arrange delivery myself as collection was obviously not an option.
