I watched the England - Germany Euro 96 match in a pub in posh Putney. (It was where I worked)

After the match, there were fights breaking out everywhere.

One work colleague saw it in another pub nearby. He had to go to A&E - a fight broke out, the cigarette machine got knocked over and fell on his foot

yeh, same as me. I backed Bayern Munich to beat Leeds in 75 european cup final, would have been happy to lose.

Well, I reckon Poland would have won...but they kept passing the ball to the guys in white!

Went out to watch second half down the pub.  Vwd Kenny, I thought of you when stevie g hit the old onion bag.  Notan easy one to price up but reckon you mightve got a touch more than 66-1.  You got the scorecast (rooney and 2-0) right that is what?  25 /1?  Gerrard would be at least 3/1, perhaps nearer 7 or 8/1 to score the last.  Mightve missed out on a 200/1 shot, sorryto rub it in.  Wd anyway really enjoyed these last two games.
