Completely refused to reflect on her own circumstances when asked if she had concluded whether she had been right or wrong in her action said 'I haven't thought about it'

Heard Pryce on Radio 5 Live with Victoria Derbyhire this morning.
She refused point blank to answer most of the questions re her conviction "I'm not here to talk about that". More than happy to plug her book though. Vile piece of work, no wonder he traded her in. |

this vile sick twisted woman who was so hell bent on revenge she ended up in prison herself. she was on BBC Breakfast this morning, and point blank refused to answer the first question, 'Did she have any regrets about what she done.' (perfectly fair and reasonable question and probably the only thing anybody would be remotely interested in knowing).
......and then this silly annoying b1tch would only talk about her life from prison onwards, and started to waffle about how she slept very well the first night in prison because she was so exhausted.........interest level ZERO......nasty piece of work, horrible woman ! |

By:
did they introduce her as a "convicted perverter of justice whose husband left her for a woman that looks like a man"

Vile piece of work, no wonder he traded her in. if you haven't heard it - well worth a listen, it's on their web site. She came across as bitter and self-righteous, god only knows how she has the gall to drag herself around all these interviews still peddling her "I'm the victim" speil. Yuk. |

dustybin 14 Oct 13 14:08 I rather suspected you to be coming out handbag swinging YYW Like that canadian comedian Mike Wilmot says in his act....'p1ss off a few women and they morph into one big one and come at you' whoa... you've completely mis-understood me db. I think she's a vile creature, I absolutely do not support her. Totally agree with the judge, she's manipulative and she'll spend the rest of her days surrounding herself with "all women are victims" types who'll stoke her ego and tell her she did nothing wrong. You just know she's going to be dragged out by the press everytime there is a women-are-victims story... she'll milk this until the day she dies. I only wish the judge could have put her and Chris Hulme in the same cell for 6 months , now THAT would have been a fitting punishment. |

She landed herself in prison because of her own vindictiveness in trying to get back at Chris Huhne who had left her
by trying to get him convicted because she took his penalty points unfortunately she appears to have shown incredible stupidity in not realising that then then made them both guilty of perverting the course of justice a classic case of poetic justice..more fool her ![]() She has now decided to extend her own vindictiveness to the whole male species by claiming men are locked up because they commit a crime but women are locked up only because they are women no women in the history of the world has ever done anything wrong unless she was forced into it by a man erm...not really surely ![]() ![]() Still her book will probably sell and be believed unfortunately So vindictiveness has finally paid off for her, although she seems to be lacking in any sense right or wrong I notice still leaving her after 26 years was somewhat of a betrayal so I would not sympathise with Christopher Huhne it seems they were made for each other and I agree with pretty all poster on this thread |

re: Still her book will probably sell and be believed unfortunately
not so convinced of that, after her interview with radio 5, the presenter read out the various emails and tweets that had arrived at the station - not a single word of praise for Vicky Pryce. Also the DM has been serialising her book and I'd say 95%+ of the comments on that site have been negative about her. I don't know if you read the serialisation, but she talks about how when she arrived at prison her handbag and its contents had to be recorded. It turns out she was walking around with almost £100 in coins! Rubbish - what is she, a weightlifter? Who the hell can carry 100 pounds in coins around in their handbag. I had no idea what was in my handbag. The past few weeks had been rather unusual. I had gone to the bank to get cash on a few occasions on the way to the crown court, mostly intending to leave it with the children to cover the cost of running the house if I was sent away for any length of time. So we started counting what was in the bag: tons and tons of coins which had been weighing me down for some time. There was nearly £100 worth, at the bottom of the bag or inside various zipped compartments. To my complete embarrassment – but to the huge amusement of the security guard – there, in between diaries, packets of tissues, cheque books, loose credit and store cards, letters, newspaper clippings (it was a big bag), we brought out a tenner here, a £20 note there, the odd £50 note, and a few fivers I had been given as change. By the time we finished, some half an hour later, all the other officers on the ground floor next to the exit where the Serco van was waiting to take me to Holloway had come to watch, and could not believe their eyes as we finally established that I was going to prison with a total of £1,490 in cash. If thats the best of the anecdotes I fear for the sales of her book.
Sounds as boring as she is ghastly. Nothing goes down better than hearing you got loads of spare cash over flowing you didnt realise you had.... [sarcasm YYW- just in case you weren't sure) |

She is implying that women shouldn't be sent to prison for breaking the law and should be treated differently to men.
It would be interesting to hear her views on someone like Tracie Andrews. Community service perchance? |

It is her claim she was forced that is problem, that is really not believable in my opinion
I believe she was asked, begged and may even have felt a duty to take Chris Huhnes penalty points but is was her own choice..so either both of them had to go down or neither....in fact justice was done So she has no case then, and does not have one now imo I am sure there are some women who have rather foolishly done wrong things for men and I am also sure there are men who have done wrong things for women..it is what is called love excepting the case where women are forced into prostitution, women have a point on that one |

I had to look up Tracie Andrews In November 2009 Tracie Andrews underwent a submandibular osteotomy operation to correct a class III occlusion. Specifically, this corrected her bottom jaw from protruding over her top jaw ![]() ![]() I was high pretty much the whole of the 90s tho her mug looks vaguely familiar |

dont open that can of worms ebul many more women are prostitutes because of their own failed lives than coerced, and yet a man selling a woman drugs gets arrested while a woman selling a man sex the man gets arrested again (no I havnt btw) |
|
By:
yes I also believe the system is biased in favour of women already
so I agree with you there Dusty for their to be justice sentence has to be passed equally for both sexes Vicky Pryce lied to a court when she said she had been forced to take Chris Huhnes penalty points she was justly convicted if she was a decent human being she would admit this, she is not |

desperate munterAs far as prostitution goes, you have a point Dusty, the majority of prostitutes do it out of choice and it does seem unfair to penalise men for following their 'natural instinct' But I would have slight concerns about young and usually foreign girls being shipped in on an organised basis I am less comfortable with that...is this their own personal choice ...which it must be |

My issue is the point of law
Women talk about equality when it suits their cause, we see this in the inflated car insurance premiums that came about from Brussels after they created a song and dance about something they wernt getting and wanted. We also see it in the argument that men and women are the same and that women should be seen as such. Pankhurst killed chivalry, why would a man dote on another man? Time will tell what hornets nest is being shaken now they argue they should be allowed to fight on the front line, surely that means an end to the taboo of violence against women? Women call for them to be a protected species one minute and then want everything the next, the two arnt interchangeable, they have to choose. At some point the law will catch up, either women who get battered will be treated the same as a bloke who lost in a fight to another bloke or prostitutes will be rounded up and thrown in jail. |
|
By:
I totally agree dusty...women want it all ways
that's women for you ![]() equality means equal responsibly and equal punishment By lying to a court of law to get revenge on an errant husband, Vicky Pryce did not do women any favours did she women complain they are not believed in rape and abuse cases, well that is because some women lie as Vicky Pryce did so normal rules of evidence must be used For her to claim that that all women who do wrong is all the fault of men anyway...so they should not be punished is pathetic....and patently not true |
|
By:
Quite right.
As it goes, I'm a believer of TRUE equality, not forced equality by agenda. I believe men and women are different in a myriad of ways and it should be merit not sex that determines a person's position, if a person is in a position of privilege erroneously then it should be corrected, whether that be man or woman. Feminism unfortunately isn't about merit its about getting what they can. They suggest boardrooms should be 50-50 men/women, but these 'men clubs' are limited companies that strive for profit first and foremost, if a woman could create more wealth than a man you can bet your arse they'd hire them. Humans are greedy. |

A finding of contempt of court may result from a failure to obey a lawful order of a court, showing disrespect for the judge, disruption of the proceedings through poor behaviour, or publication of material deemed likely to jeopardize a fair trial. A judge may impose sanctions such as a fine or jail for someone found guilty of contempt of court. Judges in common law systems usually have more extensive power to declare someone in contempt than judges in civil law systems. The client or person must be proven to be guilty before he/she will be punished. Does contempt of court only apply to a court in session, or can you be done for dissing the judge after the verdict and sentence? |
