No, but the only way I might consider it is if I see all the politicians, royalty and other seemingly exempt groups from being on the front line.

My grandfather wasn't accepted into the navy because of flat feet
So he spent the war in the rolling mills, and when fighting started and the services came calling they were deemed too skilled in steel making to be let go

I'd fight if I had to, but strictly as a one man killing machine, across between Chuck Norris, a tank and a grizzly bear with a bad attitude.

I wouldn't want to be in a unit of modern day volunteers, trying to get me killed, as instead of looking out for sniper fire they are probably tagging themselves on bloody Facebook.

yeh, Id probably fight (more passionately against some than others) but would have it written into some kind of contract that Im not part of any division....or the army for that matter

You would not be given the option of deciding if you 'wanted to fight' or not. Martial law is declared. All males between the ages of 16 and 45 are now members of the military and must report to their local town hall where they will be issued with further instructions.
Conchies will assist the medical corps. Deserters will be shot on sight. Without exception.

All families originating from whichever nation/ethnicity we are fighting against will be transported to The Isle of Man or The Orkney Islands, depending on how much money you pay towards the war fund.

Everything sorted...full time employment for all. Can't beat a good war for getting folk off the dole queue.
