When Kenny himself joined, he was very dismissive of the newfangled invention all the hipsters were banging on about, the wheel.

that was then, remember that one
farthouse thread on 'van' was hot, as the kids say. It was all a bit cliquey...canary, poker, that hippy one that everyone wanted to shagg, ah yes Zelda, they were that lot. Then there was Albion (and guises) nestor, Buffy, me and the likes of green willow basically moaning a lot and committing suicide. Pete Docherty was big, er, and that. |

2002 I started on here...... the year of Leslie/Jonsson (and hundreds of threads deleted) and Soham/Huntley amongst other topics that exercised the CC contributors.
Those Friday nights on the Horse Racing Forum have never been topped in my opinion. Superb. |

The first ever thread on chit chat was started by Nashwan and it was "What is your favourite toothpaste."
I replied Colgate and I'm pretty sure kenny mann said Steradent. |

There was a great thread many years ago that completely kicked off, each way and TheMentallyUnstableDrHuxleyPig (he had other usernames but I can't remember them off hand) were scrapping over who was the better looking of the two

Correct Slippy. The Doc won on the bridle as I recall, with around a stone in hand and the other herbert was required to leave the Forum never to return.
By:
Yes, it was very good Slippy - and still in the archives, as someone saved it before we went 'May the 6th 2010'
It's the only time I ever posted on a thread started by whatever the berk's name was who started it - something he mentioned in the thread - but I had to, to vote for the Doc in such chowder-cheeked competition from the orange munchkin. |

you may be right anyway kenny. I only ever used Horse Racing for ages, until they started getting on my t1ts, and I started looking for pastures new.

who's that in your photo'? Always reminds me of the actor Brian Brown, but is probably Kirk Douglas.
By:
Kirk Douglas from "The Vikings" - I always thought it was Father Jack Hackett until I clicked on it.
By:
yeah it's Kirk Douglas as Einar in The Vikings

yes he does have a look of father jack around the eyes :)

Kenny mann, I'm glad you have got a healthy sense of humour like me
. As an aside, these freds from the past that turn up 9 times out of 10 I have absolutely no recollection of posting what I have done and that post is included in that list.Izzy Wizzy's Betfair meet up at Covent Garden tube station was an absolute gem but I think it was on General and not here. |
