My marmalade and white coloured cat Susie, becomes ginger and white when I take a photo of her. How does one adjust the colour on the One S? Thank you kindly.

Try dicking around with the white balance. If that doesn't work, get a black cat.

Easiest thing to do is give the cats marmalade bits a coat of matt emulsion in light terracotta

Found it, in the camera app hit the menu (3 dots) -> Picture settings -> Scenes -> Pets -> Cats -> Marmalade -> Untick the "Gingerize" box.
This might only be on the HTC One (no S) though. |

Have you considered swapping the marmalade for jam ?
