Anybody got any, need to do a quiz for work. Along the lines of the Sunderland/Villa one but a bit more obscure ideally :-)

It's a question to be guessed at really, Mac, but one which would go down well in a quiz, I would think, as it gives the 'no hopers' a chance of getting a point or two from the 'know alls' if they strike lucky:

Pumpy, unfortunately, as good as those look, they're not Wright's Pies - THE pies of Stoke!
I'm staggered that they're not for sale at the Brit - but I'm almost sure I read years ago that Coates had something to do with Pukka pies, so it must be because of that.

Nothing beats a Wright's meat and potato pie - and they're just £1:10 (at most, I can never remember numbers!)

I'm not surprised Muntz. On my 'pie question search' I saw that quite a few lower league clubs charge very high prices for their pies - but they are supposed to be of exceptional quality.

It can be a small fortune to pay if you have a couple of kids to take to the match - as well as buying drinks and a programme.
All for 90 minutes worth of entertainment.

Note the entertainment bit. That's why Pulis is off to Monaco!

Pumpy, I think that's just a promotional shot from a few years ago (possibly when the Icelanders were in charge). I'm almost sure Stoke don't sell Wrights pies as they'd be  promoting it in their blurb as 'Official pies for SCFC' - but they never do.
Report Tommy Toes June 5, 2013 11:45 PM BST
Here's the additional pie question:

Answer to this one:

On a full-size football pitch, how long is the straight edge of the "D" on the edge of the penalty area?

Is 16 yards

You can work it out using Pythagoras
Penalty spot to the edge of the arc is 10 yard
Penalty spot to the edge of the area is 6 yards
Those two lines form two sides of a right-angle traingle, along with half the straight edge of the D
Hypoteneuse is 10 yards
Shortest side is 6  yards
Remaining side (half the D) is 8 yards (it's a 3:4:5 triangle)
Therefore the straight edge of the D is 16 yards, or 48 feet
