I won a Prague package that was cancelled and had the money put in my account. Treated my wife to a new settee and I built myself a poker PC. I left £100 in my account and those games really helped my bankroll. I still play them occasionally but my bankroll is pretty comfortable and it just takes up an extra table for me. Great games though for any micro stakes player.

I like the setup, rarely more than 50 players, no rebuys or add ons and usually finished in 2 hours

I really like playing poker Ovalman but it does grind you down as Mc M will testify, I played 5 tourneys last night after the Froch fight, won two and had to be up at 9 to do stuff. I logged off at 5.30 and felt very ragged this morning. I didn't even win that much and was tired. I was playing 60 hours a week at one stage after the racing had finished but it was doing me in and I started making bad decisions to get to be chip leader so I could try and dominate. Now it's a hobby really and not something that I'll ever win much in the long term and I know that.

I don't do any other gambling Slippy and B-B so I do think about the game a lot. I'd count myself a a serious amateur, I make some decent pocket money but I'm a hopeless punter and why I don't do the exchange on here. There's some good value promotions though on Betfair but always remember any promotion run by a site is there to reward the site and not you. They don't run any promotion because they feel sorry for you
