Well I don't expect anything as it isn't my game and actually so far I have not done good enough to declare on here.

Can I presume that you know that you can look all around, and move as far as you want to go in any direction?

You need to enlarge the submission map as much as you can to get better accuracy.

Tracks?? Sheer Heaven! We'd have given our right arm to see  track. All I could see was the hole in the ground that I was in.

Can anyone advise on the Rules?

At the moment we are just allowed to turn on the spot 360°.
But are you allowed to zoom in or out (some signs are just too blurred)?

And furthermore, are you allowed to 'take a step' (and God forbid, steps) in any direction?
This is surely cheating

Rob, I've had a fair few like that which were Australia but also had some suburban scenes that turned out to be Australia too!

The one thing it does reinforce is how pretty and tidy the English countryside is!

Good game if you've got time to waste and can be arsed to travel along the roads until you come across a road sign or a building with a name on it. One of mine was a tiny island belonging to Japan in the Pacific, which was tricky to zoom in on.

I just hit 15,205 helped, no doubt, by the fact that I was on a bridge somewhere, looking down at a building
that looked very much like "Sydney Opera House"!

What was strange is that I zoomed in as far as possible, and hit the bridge, but I was still 534 ms away!

Believe or believe not, following being on the Sydney Harbour Bridge yesterday and got somehow just over 500ms, I am now in the uk for the first time and in Blackpool, of all places!

Even then I am somehow 110ms out!

Switching the bloody thing off now before I crack up!

Funny you should mention Sydney Harbour Bridge...the place where I was 50m off was the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle, which I'm sure you know SHB was modelled on

If you get the underwater picture with turtles and fish, it's the great barrier reef.  You can still move about the picture, but there's no road signs to help you.

I was pretty well smack on it but it showed me wrong by 625.83 kms and sent me to somewhere in Finland!

maybe people are being given distances far from where they point on the map they clicked on.... because they've been tracking 2 hours to find a signpost and are therefor 2 hours from, their stating point

i think you get 6500 for getting it spot on, its just that its impossible to tell to the meter where the start point is and i dont think the game is totally accurate.

What I find hard to understand is, when trawling around on Google earth, there are millions of square miles unmapped,
and yet this game takes us up donkey tracks in the outback!!!

I dont understand the question It uses google map not "satellite" google earth is that what you mean?
