Sorry about the preamble there. I don't know how that happened!
By:
Where are you bleeding?
By:
Shhhh....I'll whisper it.
From the RECTUM!!!! |
By:
If you have food poisoning it may be external bleeding............
By:
btw what was Anne Hathaways warning??
By:
if you are passing rectal blood ap, just get to see a gp, ask for emergency appointment, no point in fecking around with that
By:
Yes MB, that's the plan.
Just waiting for a bathroom event to see how things are today. Trouble is I am empty! |
By:
In all probability you have piles, the bleeding of which has been caused by the force of the emptying brought on by the food poisoning.
if the blood is brightred, it's less worry than if it's dark. |
By:
Cant believe im replying but if the blood is clear bright red, it is probably piles as the blood is coming externally. If it is mixed in your stool sample, then that is a problem.
By:
Can food poisoning cause internal bleeding?
Yes, it's not unusual. |
By:
Yes Dr, that is what my research has turned up.
Sorry to be so lavatorial but that's the only way to discuss a serious topic like this. Quote "I don't mind how you tell me, just tell me"! After I was pretty much "poo-ed" out, I had blood only on two following events. |
By:
Still reckon you should see the Dr, Aunty. If something is wrong you need to get it looked at early.Hope things work out ok.

Well, there you go. I got lucky for once!
Called the docs and had to push for an appointment as lucky to get one within 10 days. "Come down and see the 'on call doctor' but you will have to wait". Well I always do (anything from half to one hour). Two doctors off sick so my own lovely Dr Ruth was called in and I was fast tracked. Thing is if anyone is going in there with rubber gloves I would prefer it was her! Have to take sample and blood test. It's a fekking joke. The first appointment is a week on Wednesday! Considering that it takes circa five minutes per patient, and there are two of them they could do certainly fifteen to twenty per hour (allowing for some slack). So how come when I go, there are only a handful of people waiting, and I have often been last, and it isn't even 09:00! It's effing shambolic imo! Next available doctors appt, for a review, isn't until Tuesday the 9th April. Want to know why this is? Come and sit in the waiting room and watch the screen. Half the names are effing Polish, and did you know that they have to provide interpreters for every one of them! |
By:
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it. Constant shafting from governments and banks have caused this - next it will be the eussr then it will be the chinese - see how you feel after that lot!!
ps I hope you get a result and get better MO pps please don't bring up all these foreigners swamping the services - you will have NL accusing you of being a NAZI ha ha!!!! |
By:
oh dear, a potentially useful thread has descended into the usual racism espoused by the clown moisok et al
By:
err !! sorry badger it was Aunty who raised the Polish aspec, not me, and where have I said anything racist !!??
By:
aspect ha ha
By:
even the prime minister is racist it seems - listen to his rancid speech on sky tv right now!!!
By:
I'd rather not, thanks
By:
yes of course
It is not a subject the left (of which I am a member) want to debate - they have avoided for years and we are in difficulties of how to handle it, as it is somewhat embarrassed about it. Therefore many hide their heads in the sands or alternatively fling racist accusations against anyone who raises the issue of the millions of foreigners who have come to our shores and flooded the job market. It is, of course, capital pushing wages down to turn us into a low wage economy, setting worker against worker, if we don't comply then the jobs will be sent eastwards. The eussr of course is a prime mover in this. |
By:
For the record my comments were not intended to be racist at all. Merely making a statement of what is fact, and without personal opinion!
What is unacceptable is that, given population numbers, it seems that certain people do take up more space per capita than they should! |
By:
Think yourself lucky that you don't live in Newham.
By:
squeeze - no one wants to know, it is too unsavoury and embarrassing for most to discuss it - it is strange how many people I meet quietly say to me 'what do you think of all these foreigners coming here'?? It is like the red under the beds thing decades agao, except the tories all wanted to talk about that one!!! ha ha!!! Now immigration control is one of the pillars of new tory policy (and always has been according to camaroon!!!!!)
By:
Cameron is as big a liar as Blair and Brown were.
Tbf, if I was an MP on £1,100 a week plus expenses, I could also moved to my greville-free area 25 years ago, and like all the other MPs, I wouldn't give a fack about immigration either. |
By:
Ok I will go and get my little tank as lt gruber says in allo allo !!! You can drive but we will share the machine gun and cannon!!!!!
By:
14 days to see a GP!!
where do you live? is this a city thing? here in rural Cambridgeshire I dont ever recall calling my local GP and having to wait more than 24 hours!! you can nearly always getin same day ![]() |
By:
I'm not far from the Cambs. border in west Norfolk.
Never had to wait more than two days. |
By:
Do they do pie, mash and liquor out there in the wilds. ??
I would have my somali bodguards put you out of any surgery I was sitting in Squeeze. But then I don't go to surgeries.!!! |
By:
I have found a place in west london that does it and wait for it.........................
By:
BUBBLE AND SQUEAK!!!! yes - amazed - here in middle class little england - how about that!!!
By:
I think we can all appreciate the need to be able to communicate with the doctor. it would be unsafe otherwise. What strikes me as surprising is that the Medical Council haven't created a multi-lingual set of diagnostic phrase books. The Doc tends to base his findings on a few, fairly standard, questions. It shouldn't take much to get to the crux of the problem.
If a diagnosis could not be made thus...then by all means wait for an interpreter to attend. |
By:
Ps I have a very nice asian doctor, actually - talk about English - he sounds more english than me(well he is english ) and dresses immaculately. A third generation I think - I have had to delay an appointment so I can see him - I prefer him to any of the other doctors there. You don't want to hear his opinion on immigrants - he would be struck off ha ha!!!
It's a bit like basil fawlty's don't mention the war on this forum isn't it ha ha!!!! |
By:
My Doctor Ruth looked particularly fine in her jeans today (having been called in to cover) and the latex gloves
just just completed the look so well! |
By:
and free prostate massage then anti???
By:
What I have to tell you is that, if someone is going in there, I would rather it be her than a male doctor.
It isn't the most comfortable of experiences, even with a delicate female hand, so what the hell pleasure people get out of the anal thing I can't begin to imagine! Doubtless someone on here will enlighten me! |
By:
Canaryboy has his prostate checked every week by a doctor in Lowestoft.
By:
Sorry, I meant docker, not doctor.
