The coast line is pleasant when there are no doughnut eating zombies.

no such place as Skegness or Skeggy now as it used to be known, it is now called Skeg Vegas and is the premier UK holiday resort. Where else can you get someone with a tractor and trailer to take you out to the sea?

never seen the advertising poster "Skegness is so bracing"? I think 99.9% of the East Midlands used to go there for the holidays in the 60's-70's as it was the only place you could get to without changing trains.

whats so good about the French Riveira ?  the beaches are terrible and Nice is basically Doncaster with a seafront

Skegness i would say is a typical British faded resort mainly frequented by Poundland type shoppers , i went there one time and thought it looked OK and a nice beach  ,although it was sunny and warm so i might have got lucky from that point of view

If you think Skeggy is bad - venture up the coast a bit and you come to the toilet that is ... Mabblethorpe ... A truelly pathetic effort of a civilised colony devoid of any culture or interest.

It must be said that the beach is actually magnificent but the town itself is something to behold.
