no matter how drunk you may be, say NO NO NO, to any single, attractive women, who happens to be wondering around a casino floor all alone at 4.00am and who asks you if ' you want to party? '

When a "lady" asked me that, I asked if there would be jelly and ice cream, she said it could be arranged!

after few hours on the tables, in the early hours, I went to the bar for a quiet drink (about 5.00 in the morning!!
) I probably looked a little lonely and desperate! I must have had 6 or 7 approaches in half an hour! In the end I just ended up ignoring them completely which resulted with one them telling me that I was incredibly rude!! I was livid ![]() |

this was in the Luxor btw, I can imagine some of the other casinos being much worse!!

Thing about the brasses is a lot of them are absolute shockers. I was sitting at the bar in Mandalay Bay very late one evening drowning my sorrows after a bad beat knocked me out of a tourney. This monster came up to me, she was probably a looker on Prom night but the 20 years later of having been on the treadmill hadn't been overly kind.
Anyway, the opening gambit was $400. I said I wasn't interest at any price and if truth be told you'd have to pay me to do the deed anyway not the other way around. This didn't go too well it has to be said and she called me a Limey maggot. I asked the barman, "would you fk her?" He started laughing, shook his head and got me another beer on the house. |

Thinly veiled 'I pulled the barman'.

Stop and have a chat with the friendly mexicans slapping the Ladies business cards on the strip,go and see the worst of British excess in the crown and anchor when there;s a big prem game on.
Try and catch Fat elvis doing a show and guess when he last saw his genetalia. Go and bag some large breasted beauty in palaminos, and gawp at all the homeless sleeping in boxes on the drive back. |

MGM is brilliant, once you get your bearings. Going to the Grand Canyon is akin to going on holiday to Barcelona then taking a day trip to see the Colliseum in Rome. It's fecking miles away, you spend hours waiting in the airport to catch a sh1t plane to a **** place. I couldn;t wait to get back to Vegas, worst day trip ever.

Have steak frites in Paris, awesome Chinese in the Bellagio and wicked restaurant called Switch in the Wynn , the walls change every 40 minutes or so. Use the pool at Caesars Palace, sweeeet.

A friend of mine stayed at the MGM for a week, by the time he left he still did not know his way around its so huge !
Too hot for me in July, been loads of times usually in March or April, once at the beginning of Sept & it was still well over 100 degrees. First time is the best though for the wow factor, though once you have been your usually hooked. Done the dam & the canyon, if your not a great flyer stick to the dam, best trip is Death Valley but that is closed in the summer its about 140 degrees so is closed to the public ![]() Your have a great time that is 100% assured. |

The heat will be insane, desert heat is not like a very hot day in Europe it's more intense than anything you will have ever experienced before. I wouldn't have booked July, it was bad enough in October and November. Avoid the sun at all costs as you will fry badly.
For a laugh, the rides at the top of The Stratosphere are worth doing if you have a strong stomach, not for the faint hearted it must be said. |

if you had to pick between New York and Las Vegas which one would people go for?

If your into shopping the Outlet around six miles out from the strip is good for clothes, trainers etc
Spoilt for choice if you like your food too many decent places to mention, about time I went back, wonder if the wife would miss me if I disappeared for a week ![]() |

Seriously it will be too hot to walk the strip during the day, use the monorail if you venture out in daylight, if your going to sit by the pool best to do it after 4 0 clock as your roast otherwise, drink plenty of fluids your be fine.
|
|
By:
You won't leave the air conditiong comfort of the casinos for too long, I can't emphasise enough how burning the heat will be and I lived in Australia! Even walking down the strip in the evening will be hard work let alone chilling at the pool in the afternoon. Don't say you haven't been warned.
www.cheapovegas.com/ is a good site to have a butchers at for reviews of what is going on at the various hotels. The Grand Canyon helicopter ride is good, you have to do it once in your lifetime. I was a bit unsure as i'm a terrible tourist as regards to sight seeing but glad I did that. You can land in the Canyon, have a late lunch and fly down the strip after dark. |
