Only really loved Weezer for the blue album , but what an album . B - side of the sweater song - Susanne , absolute punk pop classic :

The other fave that springs to mind is comfort comes by the manics , originally the b side to life becoming a landslide ... something of a departure and a portent of what was follow on the holy bible album . James solo is completely stunning . The whole thing is basically the blueprint for Faster .

I am the Walrus b side to Hello Goodbye by the Beatles. Shirley the best b side ever. The Beatles were well known for "trying" with their b sides and as a group had the best collection of b sides ever!

Gorillaz do some decent B sides .. and D sides ... and also G sides
The Laika Come Home album is excellent & all remixed/dubbed .. probably better than the originals

Adam was the master of the crafty 'must have' B side that never turned up on the albums so you had to have the 7 inch.
'Why do girls love horses' was cr@pp though!

As has been mentioned above, Oasis routinely churned out B-sides that were much better than the A-sides.
In fact, what might be their best single anyway is by far the best four-track effort I've come across - Whatever.
Including Slide Away was slightly cheating though.
Other than them, the other group that routinely produced good B-sides (imo) was the Smashing Pumpkins.
