fwiw I think his intentions were mainly good, but he obviously lacked the personality & savviness of dealing with people. his obvious intellect was marred by that ambition to become prime minister. he wasn't suited to the job and the timing was a bit unfortunate for him.

Im not sure the murdoch empire made him open up the boarders that made it harder for british people to get jobs.

Unforgivable decision imo.
