Birds with small nuts and big suet balls

small nuts or big suet balls could both entice a squirrel

I've just bought some seeds with aniseed - apparently attracts the birds but repels the squirrels.Not tested them yet.
Then again, the same woman sold me some mealworms, claiming robins love 'em. Didn't. Found bloated mealworm corpses across the lawn for weeks.
Might just get some magic beans off her next thursday and be done with it.

I have a large upright feeder which is always packed full of seed. Needless to say had a massive pair of t1ts in the back garden earlier.

I only put out peanuts and sunflower hearts.

Don't forget to put water out for the birds. Even if you don't feed them. They will really appreciate it.
