i went to the lucha libre at the roundhouse in camden on a sunday some years ago to watch the transvestites battle the midgets (very entertaining) and my experience was interrupted by this pr1ck doing one of his sky one gigs.

i was a little lubricated and quite vocal in my dissatisfaction at the proper entertainment being interrupted. i was even more delighted when i realised that his family were seated directly in front of me.

could never stand this bloke, a so-called comedian who wasn't funny, use to see him several times at Temple Meads railway station when he lived in Bristol, don't think he lives there now because haven't seen him for about a year.

i imagine his heart sank when he walked into court on the first day and saw the jury: 9 women, 3 men.

Is that true DStyle? Only thing that makes the verdict of guilty make sense to me.
Must be in minority but thoroughly enjoyed his tv shows like the Convention Crasher, 'Bring Back', and when he learnt 10-pin bowling, surfing & tried to enter Eurovision.
This woman was a complete mentalist - clearly all those who are happy with the verdict have never experienced a relationship with someone of that instability, and prone to hysteria. The excessive texting is a giveaway - that is obsessive, borderline psychotic behaviour.

Found his sky 1 shows mildly entertaining.  You could tell he has an obsessive character though, got extemely worked up at times far beyond the point of it being a comedy act

hang on everyone - major injustice alert : I was hearing some of the evidence and it was clear that the woman was an out and out nutter.
I enjoy a celebrity media-execution as much as the next man, but i think this bloke is innocent.

i don't trust men with beards and JLC gets accorded the description 'comedian' even tho he isn't.      but she was utterly bonkers,  a revenge factory on legs.

Well we can only assume that the 12 people who have sat thru the trial and heard all the evidence thru out the 2 weeks have came to their decision based on all the evidence available and have found JLC guilty.

Or we can always go with chit chat who read the sun and have a general disdain to the female race unless they are "splaffing on their chebs".

In fairness Juries need cool heads no place for a bird imo.Unless some cheb spaffing can be arranged post sitting i suppose.

she does appear to be unstable and perhaps it wouldn't be easy to believe everything she said.

however that doesn't guarantee that JLC didn't mistreat her and wasn't controlling. i would imagine the covert recording that she took was probably what tipped it in her favour.

however, in cases like these, you can't help thinking that you are inviting bias with such an unbalanced jury.

and before i get accused of being sexist, i'd fully expect chance of introducing bias to be the same if it were the other way around.

I know sport a little different but watched skysportsnews yesterday and they had rapist mike tyson in and kirsty gallacher was all over him.

would have took a very short price not guilty from the reports of the case

celebs rarely go down when it's an open and shut case let alone with a victim who wouldn't have been a convincing witness

He probably did do it but sounds like she pushed him to it.

Collins certainly did not come across at all well but the woman was clearly nuts .Trial lasted 10 days ,after i'd read the reports from the 1st 3 days i thought not just that he would be found Not Guilty, but that the judge would surely throw the case out due to the unreliabilty of the accuser.

How the fk can you be 'harassing' someone who is voluntarily living with you anyway??? If someone is harassing you , then you walk away, you certainly don't send them hundreds of texts ffs

He was very poorly served by his defence counsel IMO , in ending up with such a gender bias on the jury . No American lawyer would permit that in a similar case, can you not object to that here

tobes, pretty sure you just get lumbered with the jury here. don't think the defence brief can reject members they don't like as they do in the states

common sense though to have say no more than 7 of either sex on a jury

10 days the case took I'm guessing the jury heard a lot more detail than has been reported hence the verdict and why decisions are not basd on newspaper reports.

Doubt It. Sky.com reported the evidence word for word most days and newspapers would hardly have left out the more damning bits .Look how delighted they are with the verdict.

No seriously they don't use newspaper reports to decide verdicts, to be fair I think we can all rejoice in the verdivt as it keeps him off our TVs.

While i dont doubt JLC was no totally innocent party here,the mere thought of a 9 woman jury giving balance to a case with an hysterical nut job money grabbing ex bird is the stuff of nightmares.

Strange one. He said and did some vile things by the sounds of it. This lass sounds like a complete nightmare. Wasn't he just nailing her from time to time in a London hotel, sounds like he had it right then, going by the case sounds like she was a dirty little so and so.
