Shot in the dark here.  Anyone on here knowledgable about the above vehicle?  I've sold my Land Rover Discovery cos of increasing cost and am looking at an Audi, it is eight years old and have a mechanical friend but thought it might bear fruit if I asked on here for any regular/ known faults to look out for.  Many thanks for any help.

The Audi/VW 1.9 TDi engine is very reliable and if serviced regularly will run forever. It's very economical and does not go through a lot of oil. The 130 & 150 bhp versions are also quite quick, but still economical.
