I can only hope that this doesn't give 'ideas' to the prats who run Ascot racecourse where it's a mere £4.50.

Inflation eh ?? Crisps were £1-20 a packet 3 months ago, I wonder what they are now Stratford Premier Inn, where Lenny Henry advertises rooms on telly for £29 a night, is fully booked, a few rooms are left in Barking (3 miles away) at the cheaper cost of £219 a night !!! Does Lenny Henry know about this ? ![]() |

eastwood is right, £4.50 from mobile vendors around the park. Don't know why Wembley would be more expensive.
A Big Mac meal was the same as you'd pay in a McDonald's in the high street - and 50% cheaper than you'd pay at motorway services. Other drinks and snacks not rip off prices, but quite long queues. |

There is even a bigger scam than that, I went to Old Trafford the other day and they were operating "airport style" security where you couldn't take any liquids bigger than 100ml
there were kids having cans of coke taken off them at the gate ![]() Fortunately I got wind of this earlier and took a load of 100ml vials with some nice scotch in ![]() This should forever be known as the rip-off olympics. |

Beer was £4.70 at Wembley on Sunday. They had a silly rule about notvserving until 7pm between the games even though first game finished at 6:55.
