i work with a jehovah who will only work 2 days a week even though he has regularly been offered full time work. I know he has no other income and has no contact with his family. His monthly rent must exceed what he earns, was just wondering how he manages considering jehovas dont claim benefits.

why don't you just ask him - you have already discovered he has no other income or contact with his family so he is obviously happy to be very open with you?

He works at BarCap and reports 2 days a week for small values of 2, but it's 7 really.

A Jehovas Witness who doesn't talk about religion. Why do I find that strange? DevilDevil

Exactly naydam, he's lying through his teeth (whatever that means)!

It could be a convenient "cover" for an opportunist thief!

We had "The Bag Men" in the village a couple or three years ago.
Three houses were burgled that day (coincidence)?

Invite him to your birthday party, and see what his reaction is.

Firstly, you DIDN'T ask a questionh. You stated that you wondered how he managed.

If you had asked "How does he do it?" I could have answered.

I don't know.
