Tomorrow already called off and reading the horse racing forum earlier when that monster storm hit the track, a few people living near to the track said racing on Saturday was highly improbable.

Well then if you're already in Jesmond, you have to dabble Osbourne Road.

Races or not, most nights it has a strong crowd, and especially Fri-Sat-Sun it will be busy and a good night.

There are also some good restaurants and resaurant-cuum-bars there so just eat there and then keep moving down the road getting pizzed.

Osborne Road is good for a starter. Head into town and do the Bigg Market. Loads of disco, cheap trebles, pulling bars.
Lapdancing club at the bottom end of the street.
Top end is an indoor complex called 'The Gate' lots of bars/clubs/restaurants and also a casino.
Brough Park dogs races on a saturday night too, small money in a taxi from Jesmond/city centre.
